1. Data controller

2. Personal data processed

• Identity: first and last name (contact form), store or business name.
• Contact: phone number, email address, province, district, neighborhood, and full address.
• Transaction security: IP address, browser and device information, request time, and the address of the page you filled the form on.

3. Purposes of processing

• Handling demo requests and conducting pre-contractual discussions.
• Responding to inquiries.
• Ensuring information security and preventing abuse and spam.
• Conducting operations in compliance with legislation.

4. Legal basis

Your data is processed under Article 5/2-c of the Law (directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract; conducting pre-contractual discussions at your request) and Article 5/2-f (legitimate interest of the data controller; securing the site).

Filling in a form is not mandatory; if you do not, we cannot get back to you, but you may still use the site.

5. Method of collection

Data is collected electronically, through the demo request and contact forms on the site and through the automatic access logs of the site server.

6. Transfers

Your form data is transferred to our customer relationship system and/or corporate email service so that your request can be followed up; the transfer also covers the originating IP address and page address. Access logs are generated on the infrastructure of our server hosting provider. The organizations providing these services act as data processors under the Law and follow our instructions.

7. Retention period

• Server access logs: 90 days.
• Form submissions: for the limitation periods in applicable legislation after the request is concluded.
• At the end of the period, data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

8. Your rights (Article 11 of the Law)

• To learn whether your personal data is processed.
• To request information if it has been processed.
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly.
• To know the third parties to whom data is transferred, in Turkey or abroad.
• To request correction if processed incompletely or inaccurately.
• To request erasure or destruction under the conditions of the Law.
• To request that correction, erasure, and destruction be notified to third parties to whom data was transferred.
• To object to an adverse outcome arising from analysis solely by automated systems.
• To claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.

9. How to exercise your rights

You may submit requests regarding your rights in writing to info@optikio.com or to [postal address]. We will respond within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of your request. If your application is rejected, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board.
