Privacy Policy
This policy covers the optikio.com marketing site only. Data belonging to customers who use the Optikio product (the store management application) is governed by our service agreement and by separate notices inside the product.
In short
We use no advertising networks, analytics, or tracking tools on this site. There is no cookie that follows you across sites. Our only cookie remembers the language you chose.
The only data you actively give us comes from the demo request or contact form; beyond that only server access logs are created, and we ask for nothing else that identifies you.
What we collect
Demo request form: email address, phone number, store name, province, district, neighborhood, and full address. All fields are required.
Contact form: your first name, last name, email address, and message. All four are required.
Automatically: your IP address and browser details are written to server access logs. Your IP is also held briefly in memory to rate-limit form submissions against abuse (five requests per minute).
Why we collect it
- To respond to your demo request and discuss a suitable setup.
- To answer your questions.
- To protect form submissions against spam and automated abuse.
- To keep the site secure and available (access logs).
Who we share it with
Your form submissions are passed to our customer relationship system and/or our corporate mailbox so we can follow up. This transfer also includes the IP address the submission came from and the address of the page you filled the form on. The providers operating these systems act as data processors on our behalf and under our instructions.
The site runs on infrastructure provided by our server hosting provider; access logs are generated on that infrastructure.
We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or marketing.
We may share data with competent public authorities where a legal obligation arises.
How long we keep it
- Server access logs: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Form submissions: kept after your request is concluded for the limitation periods set by applicable law, then deleted or anonymized.
- IP records held for rate limiting: counted only within a one-minute window and lost entirely when the server restarts.
Security
The site and its form endpoints are served over HTTPS only. Form data travels encrypted from your browser to our server.
Authentication headers, cookies, and form contents are never written to server logs; the only personal data in the logs is the IP address and browser details.
Your rights
